About the Workshop
Join us in Stockholm this summer for an international workshop bringing together cryosphere scientists to discuss the latest updates in permafrost, ice sheet, mountain glaciers and snow, sea ice, and polar ocean science; draw connections to the policy implications of current and future loss; and identify the best ways that cryosphere scientists can contribute to global forums including UNFCCC processes such as COP30, the International Year of Glacier Preservation, and the Decade of Action for Cryospheric Sciences. There will also be special workshops, especially for Early Career Scientists, on science communication and how to write for policy makers. This workshop is the second in a series, a continuation of the Beijing Workshop held last year; some travel support is available (see Registration page).
